In the north of the Pichola is the Fatehsagar Lake, overlooked by a number of hills on the three sides, built by Maharana Fateh Singh. In the middle of the lake is an island named Nehru Park. Fatehsagar presents a panoramic view with a serpentine road zigzagging around the placid waters, enchanting gardens and majestic hills in the background and beautiful fountains. The site provides a magnificent view of the sunset rarely seen even in the Swiss Alps.
