Delwara , Udaipur
About 8 km beyond Eklingji is a small village named Delwara. Once an estate (jagir) in Mewar state. Delwara was held by a first class noble with title of Raj Rana. It consists of a cluster of Jain temples. There are three main temples all dating from 16th century AD called Jain Ki Bassi. Of these one is dedicated to the Jain tirthanker Parsnath and other two are dedicated to tirthanker Rikhabnath.
The old palace of Delwara has now been converted in to a heritage hotel named Devigarh Palace Hotel. This 250 years old palace is surrounded by low hills, occupying eight acres of land. The interiors of the palace are a blend of traditional and contemporary design. Sprawling over and are of 80,000 sq. ft, the fort is about 140 ft high and has 23 luxurious suites, each designed individually. The palace also has darbar hall and is well equipped with facilities like-conference room, bar, a billiard room, an arts and recreation hall, tennis room, library and a gymnasium.
